Among these examples was Harvard Medical Fellowship graduate in epilepsy disorders and clinical neurophysiology Dr. Majed bin Abdulmohsen Alomar, who received the Robert B. Daroff Award in recognition of his excellence in medical care.
In the health and research sector, Harvard PhD graduate and clinical trainee in oral medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ziyad Nakshabandi received five specialized scientific and research awards.
These included the Best Clinical Case by a Trainee Award, the Rising Researcher Award, the Best Scientific Poster Award in medical research, and the Best Graduate Student Research Award, in addition to graduating with honors for his PhD research at Harvard school of Dental Medicine.
Harvard PhD graduate and oral medicine trainee at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Dr. Mandaleen bint Abdulaziz Al-Mousa also received the prestigious Lester Burket Memorial Award for Best Scientific Research by a Trainee during the 2026 American academy of Oral Medicine conference.
The Saudi graduates affirmed that their academic and research achievements were made possible, first by Allah Almighty’s grace, and then by the strong support provided by the wise leadership through scholarship programs and the empowerment of Saudi students to study and train at leading global universities and institutions, contributing to the preparation of qualified national professionals who support the country’s development journey.
