Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 10 يونيو 2026ء) The season saw growth in participating media personnel, with more than 1,700 accredited local and international journalists, over 3,500 cleared media devices and equipment, 218 media permits issued for field coverage, and coverage facilitated for 360 local and international media outlets.
As part of its media empowerment efforts, the authority organized field tours for more than 150 journalists from 22 countries, covering religious, cultural, and historical landmarks in Makkah and Madinah, including the Kiswah Factory and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran.
The authority also conducted more than 20 workshops and awareness programs, with participation exceeding 1,200 beneficiaries, focusing on media regulations, professional standards, and best practices for Hajj coverage.
The authority affirmed its commitment to continuing the development of its media services and initiatives to enhance sector readiness for future seasons.
