Saudi Water Week will feature a wide range of specialized programs, including the Arab Water Forum and the second Stakeholder Consultation Meeting for the World Water Forum 2027. The agenda will include more than 97 panel discussions and workshops focused on best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative water solutions, as well as highlighting the Kingdom's progress and national expertise in the sector.
The event is also seen as part of the Kingdom’s preparations to host the World Water Forum 2027 in the capital, Riyadh. The consultation meeting during the week is expected to play a key role in shaping the roadmap toward the global event, reflecting growing international confidence in Saudi Arabia’s role in addressing water challenges.
Saudi Water Week is drawing attention from local, regional, and international media and specialists, given its focus on strategic issues related to water security, sustainability, and their impact on economic development and quality of life.
The event will feature an exhibition that brings together public sector organizations, international companies, and experts to showcase the latest in desalination, water reuse, and smart digital systems. The platform will seek to drive collaboration and knowledge exchange among key global players.
During the week, several agreements and memoranda of understanding are also expected to be signed between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and local and international partners, aimed at strengthening cooperation, boosting investment, and supporting innovation in the water sector.
