St. Petersburg, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 08 يونيو 2026ء) During the visit, he met with CEO of the center Oleg Egorov to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in industrial engineering and advanced technologies.
The minister toured the center’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the design and engineering office and the industrial automation unit. He was briefed on the development of engineering designs, digital solutions, and control systems used to enhance operational efficiency and improve productivity across industrial facilities.
His tour also included the metrology and materials laboratory, which provides testing and material analysis services to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards, as well as specialized engineering training and education facilities aimed at developing technical and engineering talent.
Alkhorayef’s visit took place on the sidelines of his participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026 in Russia, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build effective international partnerships in the industrial and mining sectors.
