Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 06 يونيو 2026ء) The celebration featured cycling tours in three cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Abha, with the participation of more than 700 male and female participants who covered a distance of six kilometers at the Sports Boulevard in Riyadh, Al-Rawdah Park in Abha, and ROSHN Waterfront in Jeddah. Additional accompanying activities were also held, contributing to raising awareness of the importance of physical activity and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
This tour comes as part of efforts to support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at increasing the percentage of people practicing sports and encouraging members of society to adopt healthy lifestyles, making sports a sustainable daily practice. These efforts contribute to maintaining public health and reducing chronic diseases, foremost among them obesity and related diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
The Saudi Cycling Federation initiatives align with one of the objectives of the Quality of Life Program, which seeks to enable individuals, families, and society to adopt a balanced life by promoting sports activities and increasing community participation in them.
