Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 04 يونيو 2026ء) The Kingdom’s designation as Guest of Honor reflects its standing on the international stage and its pivotal role in advancing economic cooperation and strengthening global partnerships. It also coincides with the centenary of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia, which were established in 1926, reflecting the depth of the historical ties between the two countries and the continued development of their partnership across a wide range of sectors.
The participation will highlight the progress achieved under Saudi Vision 2030, including initiatives aimed at economic diversification, and showcase promising investment opportunities across the Kingdom's key sectors. It will also provide an opportunity to engage with investors and business leaders from around the world.
Participants from Saudi Arabia include representatives from government entities, national institutions and leading companies, including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Ministry of Investment, the General Court of Audit, the Heritage Commission, the Saudi Investment Promotion Authority, the General Authority for Competition, the General Authority of Foreign Trade, the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, the Saudi food and Drug Authority, Saudi Aramco and Saudi Energy.
Held this year under the theme "Pragmatic dialogue: the path to a stable future," the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a leading international economic platform that brings together government officials, business leaders, and policymakers to discuss global economic development, international cooperation, and key challenges facing the global economy.
