Niamey, January (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 06 كانون الثاني 2026ء) The launch ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Niger Dr. Zaid Al-Harbi; Nigerien Minister of Population, Humanitarian Action, and National Solidarity Professor Sidikou Ramatou Djermakoye Seyni; a representative of the governor of the Niamey Region; a representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Niger; the director of social development at the Ministry of Interior; heads of humanitarian organizations; and representatives of the media.
The project will run for three months, during which the 23,200 food baskets will be distributed to 9,400 families, benefiting 65,800 individuals in the regions of Tillabéri, Maradi, Diffa, and Niamey.
The efforts reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment, through KSrelief, to providing vital humanitarian and relief assistance to brotherly and friendly countries.
