Geneva, December (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 15 ديسمبر 2025ء) The meeting began today in Geneva, Switzerland, and will run December 15–17, organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and chaired by UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and Swiss Minister of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis with the participation of representatives of states, UN leaders, development organizations, and business leaders.
KSrelief's participation comes as part of its commitment to supporting and assisting refugees and internally displaced persons, alleviating their suffering, improving their living conditions, and providing generous contributions to host countries and communities around the world.
The meeting is held at the midpoint between two Global Refugee Forums. The first forum was held in Geneva in 2019, the second in 2023, and the next will take place in 2027. The meeting aims to assess the implementation of commitments made in previous forums, expand support for refugees and host countries, direct efforts toward areas requiring additional assistance, and evaluate challenges, successes, and upcoming opportunities.
