Riyadh, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 20 اكتوبر 2025ء) The championship will bring together 22 countries from around the world, with more than 300 competitors taking part, further strengthening the Kingdom’s leading position in organizing major international sporting events.
Official Spokesman for the General Directorate of Civil Defense Lt. Col. Mohammad Al-Hammadi explained that preparations for the championship began following the Kingdom’s receipt of the championship banner last November. He noted that a higher committee was formed to oversee the hosting process, headed by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and comprising representatives from several government entities. In addition, multiple executive committees were established within the directorate in line with a defined matrix of roles and responsibilities.
Al-Hammadi added that coordination with the IFFRS is ongoing to finalize the competition schedule and related committee meetings.
He pointed out that the event’s program includes visits by participating teams and delegations to historical, cultural, and entertainment landmarks in Riyadh, reflecting the cultural dimension of the championship and strengthening connections between the peoples of participating nations and the Kingdom’s rich civilizational and cultural heritage.
