Riyadh, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 19 اكتوبر 2025ء) In his opening remarks, Al-Jasser emphasized that hosting the second edition of the conference aligns with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
He reviewed the Kingdom’s major railway projects and the growing investment opportunities in the sector, noting its rapid development and expanding role in national economic growth. Al-Jasser highlighted that modern railway transport has become a key enabler of economic development, facilitating trade, supporting the mining sector, and expanding sustainable transportation options that strengthen logistics, improve mobility, enhance quality of life, and promote environmental sustainability. He added that the sector also contributes to preserving road infrastructure and improving traffic safety.
The first day of the exhibition witnessed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of cooperation between local and international partners in the areas of manufacturing, maintenance, infrastructure development, and artificial intelligence applications. These agreements aim to enhance operational efficiency, localize technologies, and empower national talent.
The accompanying exhibition features pavilions from more than 248 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in the railway sector, including smart operating systems, engineering designs, and sustainability solutions, in addition to dedicated platforms for investors and entrepreneurs.
