Discussions focused on the preparedness of the digital ecosystem to support government and service agencies in delivering efficient, high-quality services to pilgrims.
The digital infrastructure has been enhanced to incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and the internet of Things, aiming to streamline the pilgrim experience, ensure safety, and improve operational efficiency throughout the Hajj season.
This year, digital infrastructure in Makkah, the holy sites, and Madinah has advanced significantly, with over 9,000 stations equipped with 4g and 5G technologies, representing an increase of more than %6 compared to last year’s Hajj season.
