Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 28 أغسطس 2025ء) Saudi Reef Assistant Secretary-General for Media and Communication Majed Al-Buraikan announced that the project's three-month trial was a great success. The trial yielded approximately 2,500 kilograms of dried figs, generating a financial return of over SAR100,000. The program also trained 13 farmers and employees on the drying technology, and the trial included other fruits besides figs.
As one of the eight sectors supported by Saudi Reef, the fruit sector enhances food security by providing a source of nutrition for residents in targeted regions and across the Kingdom.
