90 Projects Open for Feedback through Istitlaa Platform

Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 25 أغسطس 2025ء) The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque presented a project on the Istitlaa platform titled “Procedural Guide for Iftar Meal Permits during Ramadan Season.” The project aims to regulate and manage the issuance of iftar meal permits in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque during Ramadan. Public feedback will be accepted until September 2, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing presented a project on the Istitlaa platform titled “Amendment to Housing Support Eligibility Regulations.” The project is designed to provide housing solutions that align with the needs of Saudi families by enabling new demographics of citizens to benefit from housing support. Public feedback on this project is open until September 4, 2025.

The Ministry of Commerce sought public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled “Implementing Regulations of Precious Metals and Gemstones Law.” The project aims to specify the regulatory provisions for the trade and industry of precious metals, gemstones, and their artifacts, as well as items plated, painted, and inlaid with them, along with monitoring controls in accordance with best practices. Public consultation is open until September 4, 2025.

The Ministry of Tourism sought public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled “Amendments to Tourism Law.” The project aims to amend several provisions of the Tourism Law to ensure its alignment with regulatory developments, thereby contributing to improving the quality of tourism services. Public consultation is open until September 20, 2025.

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority presented a project on the Istitlaa platform titled “Amendment to Regulations for the Production and Management of Digital Content.” The project is designed to engage the private sector and relevant stakeholders in providing feedback on the proposed amendments to the Regulation for the Production and Management of Digital Content (Articles 10, 13, and 17). Public feedback is open until September 20, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, by-laws, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform affirms transparency in the legislative environment. Istitlaa also fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
