US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he will name his nominee to replace Nikki Haley as US ambassador to the United Nations within the next two or three weeks.

"I will say we'll name a successor, I don't know, within the next two or three weeks, maybe sooner," Trump told reporters.
Haley plans to leave the Trump administration at the end of the year.
