Russia, Iran to Develop Cooperation in Fight Against Terrorism - Deputy Defense Minister

KUBINKA (Moscow region) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 21st August, 2018) Russia will develop defense industry cooperation with Iran, will continue interaction in the fight against international terrorism, Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said Tuesday.

"We are satisfied with the level and scale of our military and technical cooperation.

I am convinced that we will keep developing these areas with account for existing international obligations," Fomin said at a meeting with Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Ghasem Taghizadeh.

He also noted bilateral cooperation in the fight against international terrorism.

"In some regions we and you render support in the fair fight against terrorism... The fight against terrorism is one of the most important areas of our cooperation... We should strengthen our relations, efforts in the fight against this evil," Fomin said.
