Russian Pilot Yaroshenko to Meet With Wife in US Prison Aug 24 - Consulate General
Victoria, the wife of Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who is serving a sentence in a US prison, will meet with her husband on August 24 for the first time in seven years, spokesman for Russia's consulate general in New York, Alexey Topolsky, told Sputnik.
NEW YORK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st August, 2018) Victoria, the wife of Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who is serving a sentence in a US prison, will meet with her husband on August 24 for the first time in seven years, spokesman for Russia's consulate general in New York, Alexey Topolsky, told Sputnik.
"Their first meeting will take place on Friday, August 24," Topolsky said.
Yaroshenko is serving a 20-year jail sentence in the United States. He was captured in Liberia in 2010, and was jailed a year later in the United States on charges of conspiring to import drugs into the country. In 2016, the New York Court of Appeals refused to revise the pilot's sentence.
