The United States is designating one Bosnian official and three government officials from the Republika Srpska for allegedly undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement, the US Treasury said on Monday

The US government has designated three individuals in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for their role in perpetuating corruption and undermining stability, the Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Wednesday

Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite presidency, said on Friday that Russian diplomacy had always played an important role in the country and praised the contribution made to it by the late Vitaly Churkin, former Russian ambassador to the United Nations

The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has linked granting Bosnia and Herzegovina EU candidate status with providing more electoral rights to Bosnian Croats, supported Sarajevo's aspirations for the European Union on Monday and listed conditions for the country to obtain the long-awaited status

The United States has sanctioned Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Prime Minister Fadil Novalic and businessman Slobodan Stankovic, the US State Department said in a press release on Monday
