Nestle Donates Rs 1 Million For UAF Scholarships

FAISALABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Nestle Pvt Ltd has donated Rs 1 million merit and need-based scholarships for the University of Agriculture Faisalabad's students of food and nutrition disciplines. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan received cheque from Nestle Pakistan Manager Regulatory Affairs Shahzad Sikander at a meeting held at the VC Chamber on Thursday. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said uplift of any society was directly linked with increased literacy rate and education level. The university was providing scholarship to 40 percent of total enrolled students by keeping financial constraint of students, he added. He said scholarships would enable them to continue their studies for bright future.
