PESHAWAR, (Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : Arrangements for holding the Shandur Polo Festival were finalized at a meeting here between district administration of Chitral and Frontier Corps. The meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Commander Sector Headquarters North and Commandant Chitral Scouts, besides District Nazim Chitral and Deputy Commissioner Chitral, said an FC spokesman. The officials said the Shandur festival was aimed at celebrating the normalcy of life and peaceful environment of Chitral valley. It was decided to adopt foolproof security measures for the event.
