QUETTA, (Pakistan Point News – 26th Dec, 2016) : General Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS who is on a day long official visit to Quetta addressed officers of Southern Command. COAS focused on professional matters under evolving security environment. He shared thoughts on security environment and challenges. He said Armed Forces and nation have sacrificed a lot to bring back stability across the Country. Army has come up to expectations of people of Pakistan.
ZeA has brought considerable improvement in internal security environment. Its consolidation and retention is a challenge but we shall do it at all costs. COAS said that Global Geo-political and Geo-economic environment are evolving. Our region is in focus. CPEC has changed the dynamics and it is critical to our economic progress and stability. We shall do it at all costs. He said imbibed with spirit of sacrifice and valor our officers and men are best in the world. Pakistan Armed forces are fully capable and prepared to respond to full spectrum threat.
