ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2019) The Abu Dhabi Municipality and a senior Colombian delegation comprising heads of municipalities and public sector officials discussed ways of reinforcing their cooperation and exchanging expertise in improving public services, achieving economic development, and planning.
The delegation was received by Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, Director-General of the Municipality, and included Fabian Camargo, Mayor of Santa Rosa de Viterbo; Yanette Mosokotu, Mayor of Agua de Dios, and Hugo Rodriguez, Mayor of Sotatios City among others.
During the meeting, Al Qubaisi highlighted the municipality’s keenness to reinforce its cooperation with local, regional, Arab and international authorities and organisations, as part of its strategy to benefit from successful experiences and harness them to achieve overall development, as well as to showcase the municipality’s successes while noting the importance of such visits.
The members of the Colombian delegation praised the UAE’s global stature and expressed their admiration for Abu Dhabi’s economic and cultural development while highlighting the importance of benefitting from successful experiences, to improve the services provided by Colombian authorities in the areas of community service and development.
