Clean Oil Between Belarus' Mozyr, Russian Unecha Expected By Mid-August - Belneftekhim

MINSK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th June, 2019) The clean-up of contaminated oil in the Druzhba pipeline between Belarusian Mazyr and Russian Unecha is expected to run up to mid-August, the Belarusian Belneftekhim state oil company said on Sunday.

"The concern is continuing with the project to clean [the Druzhba pipeline] from contaminated oil in Belarus and replace it with clean Russian oil. The next phase will entail the extraction of the contaminated oil from the pipeline between [Belarus'] Adamovo and Mazyr. This phase will be finished in early July. We will then continue on to clean the pipeline from Mazyr to Russia's Unecha. This phase will last up to mid-August," Belneftekhim said in a statement.
