Construction Of Danish Leg Of Nord Stream 2 Pipeline To Take 5 Weeks At Most - Gazprom

ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th June, 2019) The construction of a Danish leg of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline will take a maximum of five weeks, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.

"The site, which is in Denmark, even regardless of the route, is very short, about 130 kilometers [81 miles]. Actually, there's a maximum of five weeks of work in the Danish sector," Miller said.

The Gazprom CEO added that the deadline for Denmark's decision on the Nord Stream building permit in 2019 had not yet arrived.
