ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th June, 2019) The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline construction project has been financed by 80 percent so far, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said Friday.
"The capital expenditures that are needed to build this gas pipeline, without the cost of financing, have been financed by 80 percent. In terms of the length - 57.2% [have been completed] and every day more and more, it is about two-thirds already," Miller told reporters on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
SPIEF began on Thursday and will last through Saturday. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the forum.
