ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th June, 2019) Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Russia's state corporation Rostec, confirmed on Friday that the contract on deliveries of S-400 air defense systems to Saudi Arabia had not been signed.
"The contract has not been signed," Chemezov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told reporters in February that Russia and Saudi Arabia were still working on a contract for the supply of S-400 air defense systems.
SPIEF began on Thursday and will last through Saturday. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the forum.
