ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th June, 2019) Russian energy giant Gazprom and Austrian OMV company signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday a memorandum of cooperation on liquefied natural gas (LNG), a Sputnik correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.
Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and OMV CEO Rainer Seele put their signatures on the document.
SPIEF is an annual business event that has been held in St. Petersburg since 1997. It started on Thursday and is due to run through Saturday. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the forum.
