ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th June, 2019) Russian energy giant Gazprom is ready to start talks on direct gas supplies to Ukraine at a price reduced by 25 percent, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said Friday on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"We confirm the price level discussed at previous meetings, the price level at which we will be ready to supply gas to Ukraine for our direct deliveries, and we are ready to start negotiations on the preparation of an agreement on Russian gas supplies that would ensure the price level 25 percent lower for the end user than now," Miller said.
