MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th June, 2019) Gazprom Neft and Novatek have signed an agreement of intent to create a joint venture to implement projects in the Arctic, Gazprom Neft said on Thursday.
"At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum [SPIEF], Gazprom Neft and Novatek entered into an agreement of intent to cooperate in the implementation of Arctic projects ... In the agreement, the parties expressed interest in creating a joint venture capable of carrying out the full range of tasks on the prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas fields," Gazprom Neft said in a statement.
SPIEF began on Thursday and will last through Saturday. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the forum.
