MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th May, 2019) Moscow regrets that chairman of the political council of Ukrainian party Opposition Platform - For Life Viktor Medvedchuk is no longer involved in the negotiation process on Donbas, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
"So far, Moscow does not know with whom it is possible to contact on this issue," Peskov told reporters when asked who Russia will maintain contacts with in connection with Medvedchuk's withdrawal from the negotiation process.
"As for Medvedchuk, here one may only express regret, because he repeatedly proved and demonstrated his effectiveness in the area where he had been involved in the recent years. He had contacts in Kiev, he had contacts in Moscow, he used them to advance the situation in the humanitarian sphere," he said.
