Estonia's Opposition Reform Party Won 2 Seats In European Parliament Elections With 26.2%

TALLINN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th May, 2019) Estonia's opposition liberal Reform party has won the European Parliament elections with 26.2 percent of the vote, securing two seats in the legislature, the Estonian Electoral Commission said.

The Social Democratic Party took second place with 23.3 percent of the vote and the Centre party won 14.4 percent.

Far-right Conservative People's Party came in fourth with 12.7 percent, securing one seat in the European Parliament.

European parliament elections were held from Thursday to Sunday across 28 EU member states. Estonia holds six out of the 751-legislative EU body.
