ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 23rd May, 2019) Minister for Planning, development and Reforms Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has said the government is taking forceful steps for the stability of national economy." Government is taking proactive measures to stabilize national economy. This is first PSDP of our government, he said this while presiding over Annual Planning Coordination Committee (APCC) meeting here Thursday.Provincial ministers, representatives of provinces, Federal secretaries and senior officials of all ministries attended the meeting.
Zafar ul Hassan from ministry of planning briefed the participants on economic performance in the current fiscal year and presented economic targets of next year.Khusro Bakhtiar said on the occasion amount has been allocated for some new and vital sectors in the next fiscal year despite financial constraints. The projects for which funds have been earmarked include Green Clean Pakistan, climate change, knowledge economy, development of human resources, agriculture development and regional development program.Secretary planning said a long consultation has been made with all stake holders in the preparation of PSDP for next financial year.
