The EU Commission said on Wednesday that its Vice President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic planned to discuss the transit of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine at talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak during his visit to Russia
BRUSSELS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd May, 2019) The EU Commission said on Wednesday that its Vice President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic planned to discuss the transit of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine at talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak during his visit to Russia."Mr. Sefcovic will meet Mr. Novak in Moscow, one of the issues to be discussed will be gas transit," the commission's spokesperson told Sputnik.
The spokesperson earlier confirmed that Sefcovic's visit to Russia would take place on June 13.
