ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2019) An official government delegation from Saudi Arabia, represented by various ministries and government authorities, visited the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, FAHR, to explore the Authority's key initiatives and projects.
The visit also aims to reinforce their cooperation in supporting the work of the federal governments of the two countries, as well as train the human resources of their ministries and federal authorities.
The 20-member Saudi delegation was received by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmanan Al Awar, Director-General of the Authority, and several heads of divisions and administrations.
Dr. Al Awar highlighted the visit's importance to consolidating the cooperation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia in supporting their government work. He noted that this visit, like others, falls under the framework of coordination between the two countries and the strategic partnership between the Authority and several Saudi bodies concerned with human resources development, most notably the Civil Service Ministry.
He added that the visits focussed on exchanging the best experiences, practices and expertise in developing and empowering human resources.
Shaimaa Al Awadhi, Director of the Human Resources Information Administration at the Authority, presented FAHR's key achievements and strategic projects related to the 'Bayanati Human Resources Information System' of the federal government, which is being managed in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, as well as an e-employment system launched by the Authority in 2015 as part of the system.
Al Awadi also briefed the delegation about an organisational structure system launched by the Authority in 2018.
Lulwa Al Marzouki, Director of the Human Resources Planning Administration at the Authority, explained FAHR's performance management, training and development systems, as well as its major training initiatives.
