Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Wins Team Competition at 2019 European Championships

The Russian rhythmic gymnastics national team won on Saturday the team competition at the 2019 European Championships held in Baku

BAKU (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th May, 2019) The Russian rhythmic gymnastics national team won on Saturday the team competition at the 2019 European Championships held in Baku.

After three days of qualifying competitions, Russian sportswomen Dina Averina, Arina Averina, Alexandra Soldatova and junior team of group exercises consisting of Amina Khaldarova, Elizaveta Koteneva, Alexandra Semibratova, Dana Semirenko, Alisa Tishchenko and Anna Batasova have scored 216.225 points and hence have won gold.

The team from Belarus took the second place gaining 206 points. A total of 202.075 points and therefore the third place went to Bulgarian gymnasts.

The European Championships in Baku will end on Sunday with finals in individual programs.
