Good news for tourists: Govt rest houses will now be open for public

The decision has been taken to better utilise the resources of the country and facilitate the people.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 18th May, 2019) The Pakistani government has been taking steps to promote tourism in country.

Consequent to the government's push for tourism industry and revival of peace, Pakistan's profile is going up fast with various tourism and media organizations, and travelers now figuring it among the world's top tourist destinations.

Now the Ministry of Postal Services has announced that its rest houses have been opened for the general public across the country.

The Ministry of Postal Services issued a notification on Saturday in this regard.

According to the notification, the decision has been taken to better utilise the resources of the country and facilitate the people.

The notification stated that the tourists will now be able to stay in government rest houses during their tours at a very cheap price. The rest houses will be available at a minimum rent of of Rs1200 to Rs3000 rupees.

The work on the renovation and decoration has been completed across the rest houses from Karachi to Murree upon the direction of Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed.

This service will increase the income of the government and reduce the expenses of the people.
