During its session today, the Abu Dhabi Federal Appeal Court sentenced "A.N.," "A.M.," "F.A.S." and "A.T.S.," all Arab nationals, to life in prison

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2019) During its session today, the Abu Dhabi Federal Appeal Court sentenced "A.N.," "A.M.," "F.A.S." and "A.T.S.," all Arab nationals, to life in prison.

The defendants were convicted after being charged by the State Security Prosecution with planning to commit terrorist crimes and vandalism against key national establishments.

The court also sentenced them to deportation at the end of their jail term, ordered the confiscation of all their telecommunication devices, computers and mobile phones, and held them responsible for all legal fees.

The court then sentenced "H.M.B." and "A.N.M.A.S.," both of Arab nationalities, to 10 years in prison for the same crimes, and ordered their deportation after the end of their jail term, as well as the confiscation of their telecommunication devices, computers and mobile phones, and held them responsible for all legal fees.

The court fined "A.N.M.A.S." AED3,000 for owning an unlicensed air rifle, and acquitted "M.H.K.," "H.A.Z.," "A.H.N.F.," "M.A.F." and "J.A.M.F.," all of Arab nationalities.

The State Security Prosecution charged 11 people with forming a terror cell affiliated to Hezbollah in Lebanon, as well as planning acts of terrorist and vandalism against key national establishments, and possession of explosives and remote detonators.
