Politician’s wife who shopped for Rs35 lac in one hour

Arif Hameed Bhatti present in the TV show pointed out to the daughter of another politician who had shopped for Rs70 lac at a London store.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 14th May, 2019) Renowned journalist Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain has revealed how the wife of an influential person in Punjab did shopping of Rs35 lac in one hour.

To this, fellow journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti present in the tv show pointed out to the daughter of another politician who had shopped for Rs70 lac at a London store.

She had done this shopping in just one hour and had bought a single bag for Rs55 lac, he said.

Bhatti said that the poor are deprived of a two-time meal while these people from political elite shopped for lacs in an hour. They don’t care for the poor people at all, he added.

In the same show, Ghulam Hussain had revealed another marriage of former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) president Shehbaz Sharif.

Speaking in the TV programme, Ghulam Hussain said that Kulsume Hai, who belongs to a very good family, was promoted while she was working in the Secretariat.

“Not only that, her powers were also increased and several senior officials used to keep waiting outside his office. Then suddenly, she disappeared,” he said.

The journalist said rumours of his marriage with Shehbaz Sharif were surfacing while she was working as a government officer. However, these reports were always rejected.

Ghulam Hussain said that he now has a witness of their marriage who had signed on the Nikkah Nama (marriage contract) of Shehbaz Sharif and Kulsume Hai.

Kulsume Hai has however announced to take legal action against journalist Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain for alleging her of marrying Shehbaz Sharif.

Sharing the clip of the show where Ghulam Hussain made these claims, Kulsume said, “They have spouted absolute lies today. I will take legal action now.”

Rejecting the journalist’s claim in another tweet, she wrote, “There is neither any truth to the allegations made in the program on GNN today nor can this supposed witness be real. This propaganda will not dissuade me from leading a normal life, pursuing my careers etc. Anybody trying to beat a dead horse cannot and will not be successful.”
