The airport still lacks a parking area causing difficulty the passengers and their families.
Peshawar (Pakistan Point News – 12th May, 2019) Another case of poor planning of the previous government surfaces as the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar lacks a parking plot for the citizens.
The government had spent three billion rupees on expansion and renovation of the airport. Four lounges for passengers were constructed to accommodate 1500 passengers. Five electric lifts and five escalators were also installed in the airport.
However, the airport still lacks a parking area causing difficulty the passengers and their families.
The latest international arrival lounge was opened for passengers on Saturday at the airport. The FIA, CAA and ASF officials welcomed the passengers at the newly constructed arrival section of the airport.
But local and international passengers continue to face difficulty as the parking problem has still not been resolved at the airport.
