Lahore (Pakistan Point News / Online - 08th May, 2019) 9 people including 5 police officials were killed while 24 others were injured in a terrorist blast outside the Data Darbar shrine at Lahore on Wednesday.9 people including five officials of Punjab Elite Force were killed while 24 others were injured during a terrorist blast outside the Data Darbar shrine.Blast occurred at 8:45 am on Wednesday morning near police mobile deployed at gate 2 of Data Darbar Shrine.
Police van was targeted during the blast.5 police officials and three citizens were martyred during the attack, however, later the number reached 9.All the injured were shifted to nearby Mayo hospital for first aid.According to Rescue officials, 24 injured people were rushed to nearby local hospital out of them 9 were in critical condition.IG Punjab Arif Nawaz Khan has said that 9 people including 5 police officials were martyred while 24 others were injured during the terrorist blast.He said 7 to 8 kilo explosive material was used in the blast and police was targeted.
