Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2019 ) The President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, Salim Saifullah Khan, expressed his delight in a congratulatory message to Khalid Rehmani, SVP of Sind Tennis Association, and Special VP – PTF for Wheelchair Tennis, on the recently concluded 2-month advanced Wheelchair Training Camp, organised at the Union Club, Karachi. The Camp, part of a talent hunt initiative, held under the auspices of the Sind Sports Board and the Sind Tennis Association, the camp was attended by five players selected earlier following tournaments and visits to organisations for special persons.
Aqeel Shabbir coached the players, while Rehmani oversaw all aspects of administrative and organisational requirements during the camp. Expressing his satisfaction over the progress in wheel chair tennis events, the PTF President extended felicitations to all the participants and wished them all success in the days to come. In an appeal to the corporate sector and the provincial government, he urged them to please come forward to help with raising funds for these players so that they may be able to take part in regional and international events for exposure and experience.
