MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2019) Any conclusions on the restriction of flights of Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft after the tragedy at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport are premature, an official from the Federal Air Transport Agency told Sputnik.
"The commission is working. All conclusions are premature," she said.
The SSJ100, which was performing a flight from Moscow to Murmansk, had to make an emergency landing earlier in the day at the Sheremetyevo Airport due to the fire on board, which ultimately burnt down the aircraft.
At least 13 people died, including two children, and many others were injured, some severely, in the tragedy. The Russia's Investigative Committee is investigating the incident.
