FAISALABAD, (Pakistan Point News – 16th Nov, 2016) : Pakistani notes from Rs. 10 to Rs. 1000 can be exchanged from commercial banks till November 30th. However, State Bank will exchange them till 2021. Also, the banks trading in bad money will be fine Rs. 5000 per branch. In a session about security of Pakistani Currency Senior Treasury Officer of State Bank Ahmed Hayat Khan in Faisalabad said that branches trading in bad money will not be excused and will be fine Rs. 5000 per branch. Moreover, he said that old notes will phase out from December but they can be exchanged till 2021 from State Bank of Pakistan.
