Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th May, 2019) The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has speeded up its operation against illegal housing societies in different localities of Federal Capital.According to detail, CDA and District Administration continues sealing of shops and property offices here on Saturday.This operation was started from dawn and participated by the Director Enforcement with allied staff, AC (Rural), ICT and Officers of Planning Wing, CDA.
In Saturday's action, 213 different shops including property offices got sealed besides demolished 25 under construction shops, 04 sheds and two (02) main entry points.This operation was conducted from Ghouri Town Phase IV to Pahse VII. In addition to, another property office namely "Green Spire" located in Pak PWD also got sealed.ICT on the directions of Ministry of Interior is taking action against encroachments on public parks in Loi Bher CBR Town.
AC Saddar is leading the operation along with members of cooperative societies. In first phase 100 kanals is being cleared from encroachments.The high-ups of the authority have made it clear that strict action would be taken against those who involved in illegal constriction.It was worth mentioned here that there are around 54 legitimate and 105 illegal housing societies operating in the federal capital but BCS- II was only mandated to regulate buildings in legitimate housing societies.
