The facility of supplying oil to Pakistan Air Force through Pakistan Railways has been inaugurated here at PAF's Mushhaf Ali Mir Airbase
Sargodha (Pakistan Point News / Online - 02nd May, 2019) The facility of supplying oil to Pakistan Air Force through Pakistan Railways has been inaugurated here at PAF's Mushhaf Ali Mir Airbase.Minister for Railways , Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was the chief guest, while Vice Chief of Air Staff , Air Marshal Asim Zaheer was flanked with him . The first shipment of railways carrying oil reached on the air base on Thursdays.On the occasion Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed appreciated the role of PAF in defending the country by saying that recently Pakistan Air Force retaliated the Indian's effort to attack Pakistan in befitting manner.
Only strong air force can guarantee the air defence of the homeland.He said that Railways is the important defence line of the country and it would continue its support to the defence forces of Pakistan .The contract of supplying oil to PAF through Pakistan railways was restored after a decade.Latter Sheikh Rashid visited the airbase and took keen interest in the JF-17 Thunder. Latter he scribed his opinion in the visitor's book. He wrote there," The whole nation is proud of Pakistan Air Force -Pakistan Zindabad".
