MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th April, 2019) US Ambassador to Moscow Jon Huntsman visited on Tuesday US national Paul Whelan, who was arrested four months ago on suspicion of spying, the US Embassy said on Twitter."As part of consular support to US citizens detained abroad, Ambassador Huntsman visited Paul Whelan today," the statement said.
"Allowing consular access and not giving an opportunity for a frank conversation is, frankly, a mockery. We take our responsibilities to US citizens seriously. It is time to stop playing games," it said.
