BEIJING, (Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2019) The UAE pavilion at Expo Beijing 2019 will be a chance for Dubai Expo 2020 team to reach out to its visitors, particularly the Chinese, and introduce them to the landmark event, which will take place in Dubai next year, Najeeb Al Ali, Executive Director of the Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau, said.

Al Ali was present today at the opening of the UAE pavilion at the Horticulture Expo, in which the UAE is participating for the first time and taking place from 29th April to 7th October.

"This is a great opportunity for us, the team of Dubai Expo 2020, to reach out to as many people as possible visiting the UAE pavilion, especially that we are attracting a huge number of people to the UAE and Expo 2020 from China," he told Emirates news Agency, WAM.

Al Ali also emphasised that Expo 2019 is a chance to learn from the practices applied by the Chinese while preparing to host the middle East’s first World Expo.

"What we have always done was learning from others; from Expo Shanghai 2010 to Milan 2015 and Astana 2017. The more you get in touch with others and see their practices, the more you learn. What we have seen here in Beijing is also an example of what you can learn," he noted.

Asked whether he predicts Expo 2020 to be the best Expo to be hosted in the history of the exhibition, he answered, "We already have some numbers and information in place; 192 participant countries so far, which is the highest number of participant countries in the history of Expo, and 70 percent of our visitors will be from abroad, hence, we are talking about the most diverse number of participants in the history of Expo."
