Rawalpindi (Pakistan Point News / Online - 26th April, 2019) Preparations are under way for a Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi (MCR) referendum, a tug of war has been started between two big contesting groups.Political figures also secretly supporting their favourite groups for a referendum to be held on April 30.For the slot of President, Raja Haroon and Haji Farooq contesting against each other with electoral symbols of Rose and spade respectively.
Overall 1172 voters from grade 1 to 16 will cast their votes on April 30, polling will start on 8am in the morning and will continue till 5pm.According to sources, Municipal Workers Group has a support of both the PML(N) and PTI.Rashid Shafique also supporting the group due to his differences with Raja Haroon, he is convincing different stakeholders to support Haji Farooq.Different reliable sources have confirmed that the position of Raja Haroon is looking comparatively better than the others as the vote of Labour Union Complex have a decisive role.
