I have been summoned in the matter for providing vehicles to Asif Ali Zardari from Tosaha Khana and not in fake bank accounts case. We don't need any NRO nor have we sought any NRO from any one", he said this while talking to media men outside NAB office here Friday.
" I asked from them why I have been summoned. I was told the payment of the vehicles which were purchased has been made from these accounts. I replied there was no matter of fake bank accounts existing at that time. These vehicles were purchased in 2009. They are saying only 3 vehicles were purchased from these accounts. There was nothing wrong in the summary which was approved by me. I had sought copies of some summaries by writing letter", he underlined.
He stated I have filed the replies to NAB questions. I have been asked only about rules. I had given orders to secretary to give vehicle according to rules. We have given vehicles keeping in view all rules. Summary came to me after cabinet approval. This is not a wrong thing, he added.To a question Gillani said he has served 10 years jail and still he is facing the cases. Asif Zardari has also remained in jail and he faced all cases. Former premier Raja Pervez Ashraf is also facing cases. We don't need NRO nor have we asked any one for NRO.
