VLADIVOSTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) Russia welcomes Pyongyang's efforts in boosting its dialogue with Seoul and in the normalization of North Korea's relations with the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday.
"We, of course, welcome your efforts in the development of the intra-Korean dialogue on the normalization of North Korean-US relations," Putin said.
At the beginning of their meeting, Kim expressed hope that he and Putin would have a substantive exchange of opinions.
"It will be this way," Putin said in response to the North Korean leader's remark.
