Prime Minister Imran Khan announced this while addressing a public gathering in South Waziristan
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 24th April 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to spend Rs100 billion for the development of tribal area every year.
He was addressing a public meeting at the Spinkai Raghzai area of South Waziristan on Wednesday.
He added that the previous government had ignored the region for 70 years but now the people will see the difference.
He said education, health and other facilities will be provided in the region besides they will be provided employment and better infrastructure.
He said the tribal area was the poorest in the country, with the lowest education and highest unemployment, and that people would migrate abroad and big cities from the area to earn money. But now they would not need to go anywhere because the government was committed for the welfare of the people.
He added that when he spoke about a Naya Pakistan, he envisioned a Pakistan which should have been created in 1947 as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
